I'm so sorry to hear about Brian's passing. We worked together at Penn State Abington and although I did not know him well, all of my experiences with him were positive as Brian was always kind and friendly to me. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.

Brian was such an amazing and charismatic person. There are no words to describe losing him. I will think about him often and with the best memories. My heart breaks for your family, especially Miles. He is at peace and with loved ones. ❤️

It is never easy to lose a child. Brian and My Andy (Stiz) were friends since they were teens, hung out, played soccer, joked, laughed and played music together. 💔 Now...once again they can play music together in heaven. Condolances, thoughts and prayers for the family. God bless and watch over Miles!🙏🙏❤

I went to elementary school with Brian and he was loved by everyone. Brian was alwaya such a good friend and had such a big heart! So sorry for the Sweeney family’s loss. Praying for your comfort.

Brian always tried to illuminate the world around him with light and love. His humor, intelligence, and spirit were uplifting to those around him.

I always enjoyed jamming with him, he on his Rickenbacher and I on my Ibanez, two bassists just noodling. His creativity was limitless, and his views were poignant. It was always fun waxing philosophical with him! You never knew where it would take you, but it was always profound!

He will be remembered for his awesome contributions to the world.

Now he can find peace and jam on with the musical greats that have gone on before him. I'm sure my brother was waiting at the gates for him, along with his mom.

I am grateful to his family for sharing him with us all during his time here, and offer you my deepest heartfelt sympathies.

I just saw this sad news today. Brian was a wonderful friend to me in grade school. He was funny and creative. I have many wonderful memories of our childhood. Growing up we use to love playing outside, watching Pee Wee Herman and different wrestling shows, playing in the pool, attending Phillies and Sixers games, and creating our own rap music. Sending peace to Michele, Mike, and family.
