Susan B SmithThursday, February 8th

I never met this wonderful woman, but I grew to know her through her loving first cousin Christina. Like Mary, I have ovarian cancer, and hearing Mary’s story from Christina, who is my physical therapist, drew me to her courage and strength. Maryis now an angel in heaven, to whom I will pray for that same strength and courage. May Mary rest in peace with her beloved mother Maria.

It was such a pleasure to get to know Mary and to have the opportunity to work with her. She was such a kind and generous person and you could see it in her work, too...she always wanted to lend a hand and loved being a part of the team. She did incredible work with NOCC and it is an inspiration to hear what an impact she made there, too. I am so saddened by Mary's passing and will miss her. I will keep Mary, Bob and family in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry for your loss. I knew Mary as a classmate at St. Bernards. She was always a nice, friendly and kind person.
