Condolences for Rita Leva (Catalano)

George LevyMonday, November 6th

I am so sorry to hear of Rita‘s untimely passing. She was a fine lady, and it was my privilege to work with her for several years at Post & Schell. She will be greatly missed, especially by her family and partner John. I have sent a photo of Rita and Jon taken by my wife on June 18, 2021 when we dined together in media Pennsylvania. May she rest in Media always.

My sincerest condolences to John and to Rita's family. Rita and I worked together at Post & Schell. I have so many incredible memories of her -- her intelligence, her humor and her love of her family and friends. We are all so blessed to have known Rita. Our memories of her will live on forever.

I was so shocked and saddened to learn from Leah Perry of Rita’s illness and passing. Rita was my secretary/ executive assistant for more years than I can count. She was an invaluable member of our team at Post and Schell. She will be sorely missed by me and many others. Condolences to her family and John.

There are so many wonderful things too say about Rita! Firstly, I know how much Rita truly loved John Senior and also all of her family. Rita always had a smile on her face and was so much fun to be around. Rita was extremely hard working and very handy. She could whip up a unbelievable meal in minutes. To be honest total power house to me. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family and friends. I’m very proud too say I know one day I will see and laugh with her again. Much love

No words. It is surreal. I still can’t believe it. John, Mrs. Catalano, Karen and Anthony - You are all in my prayers. She was the life of every party, and had a heart of gold. She would do any thing for her friends. I’m so thankful she was in my life the past 41 plus years. So many good memories and fun times. Rest in peace my friend. I’m sure you are living it up with Theresa up there. Keep a watch over us down here. ♥️♥️ Diane

I just found out just yesterday that Rita died and, along with many from our SH Class of '72, I'm shocked and saddened. I'm grateful to have been in contact with Rita during the planning of our 50th high school reunion; even more so that Rita had the opportunity to reconnect with so many of our classmates that day. My heartfelt sympathy to Eileen and the entire Catalano family, long time St. Bernard Parish friends. While words are inadequate, be assured that you are in Dennis' and my prayers.
