Theresa was the sunshine in everyone’s days. The women who made you want to be kinder to yourself and the world. She loved her family so much, and treated her community and friends like they were family. She was Gods Italian mom to all. Always missed but left sooooo much love that lives on. Xox

I am a member of BVM. I enjoyed going on trips with Theresa, especially the one to the dude ranch. She enjoyed all the trips and running our meetings. Her poems and short stories were amusing. She will be missed and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Jackie Kubacki

We are so sorry for your great loss. Pray that all the wonderful memories you had with your Mom and Grandmom will help you get through this difficult time.
Theresa was the best friend. We were so close…we called each other Sis after Mary passed. Tre was our daughter Tina’s Gooma. She was a ray of sunshine in my life. Always positive and giving. Whenever one of our family had a birthday, new baby, graduation, sickness, Aunt Tre sent a card and also put an entry on Facebook. We loved her dearly and will miss her every day. Rest In Peace with Charlie, Tre. Always in our hearts. 💕Floss, Tom and family

I am family from Baltimore, Mrs. Canuso

To the entire Canuso Family : I was so saddened to see in today’s Maternity B.V.M. Parish Bulletin that Theresa had passed, sincere condolences to her family . I knew her from the Parish, as well as the neighborhood from the Election polls ; she was a wonderful, kind lady with a great sense of humor . I was fortunate to have seen her recently, as we each had a medical appointment at the Jefferson Health building ; I also attended a Mass for her dear husband Charles shortly thereafter, and left her a phone message to let her know, I hope she received it . May Theresa Rest In Peace in the palm of God’s hand, well done my good and faithful servant . With Love from Julie Bamberger-Herrmann

I’m trying to remember my first memory of Aunt Theresa, and I can’t, because she’s always been there for me. She was my mother’s sister and has always been Sis to me and my brother.

Sis always made you feel like you were special - So special that I thought I was the only one getting the cute little emojis and sayings and poems! But Sis was close to all us cousins, and our spouses, and our children, and even our children’s children – She was a great-aunt – literally and figuratively.

Sis was someone you wanted to be around. She made you feel good about yourself and about others. She made you smile. She made you feel loved.

I believe that we are all meant to be together – that our souls are re-born, and in each journey, we find those souls we are forever connected to. I will keep Aunt Theresa in my heart and will do my best to make her proud - and to be more like her, if I can ever figure out how!

Aunt Theresa, Sis, I will miss you every day until we find each other again. I love you.
