This tragedy is heart breaking. We knew Bob through our son, Jared Jacobson. Such a beautiful life ended way too soon. A true Earth Angel. We also lost a son and realize the pain of missing a piece of your heart. We pray for swift justice and God's healing hand on your family. In deepest sympathy, Karen and Glenn Jacobson

What a wonderful tribute and every bit of it so true. We knew him as "Rob" when he moved out West, or to LA at least. He was like a big brother I never had. Taken too soon from us and he really was that down-to-Earth, fun-loving and charismatic charmer that everyone loves and wants to be. If there is a lesson to learn from him at all, it is to be in the present, love life and what it has to offer and to be there for others. Which he did and I don't think he would have done anything different because that's Rob. I'll always cherish the memories I had with him and my heart goes out to the family. RIP. Will take a ride for you when weather permits.

I can’t believe this tragedy. Bobby was always so nice, funny, and kind. We really enjoyed seeing him every Christmas and it was so cool watching him on The People vs.OJ! He will be missed.

This such a tragedy and huge loss for everyone. My heart bleeds for his family and many friends. I met Bob in 2005 and worked closely with him for 13 years doing special effects on a variety of shows throughout the country. I loved him from the start. He made me laugh constantly. We worked together in many strange and difficult conditions and he always made things better. His creativity and reliability always made the job a success. So many journeys, hotel rooms, long drives and late nights...he was the best and I am a better person as a result of knowing him. He was always a joy to be around and I always looked forward to seeing him. We kept in touch after I left the company and always enjoyed getting together for a chuckle. His family did a great job! You should be very proud..he always spoke so highly of his loved ones..I am so sorry...I will miss him and never forget his wit...I still find myself laughing when I think of his antics...only now the laughter turns to tears. Fly High Bob...you did good. Love to his family...may his memory be a blessing.
