Lou was an institute to the Catholic community of Philadelphia and it's suburbs. It's hard to find someone in Catholic circles that didn't know Lou. I considered him a friend and it was a privilege to have know him. He will be missed.

Lou was a very good man and a hard working journalist. A nice combination. May he Rest In Peace.
Lou was a dedicated and faithful employee of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for 35 years. He will long be remembered for his numerous articles in the Catholic Standard and Times (now CatholicPhilly.com). He was a hard worker and respected by many. It was an honor to know and work with him at the Archdiocese. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.
