Russell F. Wade "RF" as he was affectionately known was a true joy to be around; Such wit and humor is scarce to be found here. It was truly a pleasure spending time with RF Wade. After work had moved from the GE site in Valley Forge to the CPC facility in Newtown, PA. I will always cherish the fond memories of the long commute a small group shared. Carpooling was never more pleasant than with RF in the automobile. The Gaelic cursing and Massachusetts driving skills comments lightened our travels and shortened the time. And I have not even mentioned his technical prowess.

Uncle Russell was a joy to be around, always with a story or joke the times I was fortunate enough to be around him. He also saved the day at my wedding back in 1986... The professional photographer supposedly mailed our wedding photos off to be developed and were "lost in the mail." In reality he failed to load film and lied about it, but Uncle Russell was snapping photographs from down the aisle as well. His photographs are now our only photos of my wife and I in the church! Rest in peace Uncle Russell, we'll miss you.

I enjoyed working with Russ at Lockheed Martin and always loved our talks together. He always made me laugh! I knew him as a kind gentle soul with a quick wit. I especially remember planning his retirement lunch and buying him some fun gifts! We had a lot of laughs with that! It was always so nice to see him at our holiday lunches. He will be missed! My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I hope you take comfort in knowing that he was loved by many.
