Elena Fuoco (Citrigno)

Elena Fuoco (nee Citrigno) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 26, 2023.  Elena was born in Mangone, Italy. Elena and her beloved husband, Ettore, settled in the Frankford section of Philadelphia in 1966 before relocating in Northeast Philadelphia.

Together, Elena and Ettore were blessed with two children, who were her pride and joy.  Elena was a hard worker and and industrious homemaker.  Elena welcomed family and friends into her home whom all would leave happy and content, especially after eating her delicious meatballs and desserts.

Elena was preceded in death by her loving son, Luigi. Elena is survived by her beloved husband, Ettore, and her devoted daughter, Antonietta.  Elena is also survived by her sisters Erminia Segreto (Silvio) and Maria Naccarato (Domenico); brothers Frank Citrigno (Gerri) and Michele Citrigno (Anita); many nieces and nephews and countless friends and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, April 1 from 9 to 10am at St. Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA.  Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10am.  Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations in her name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
