Gaetano Alfano of Philadelphia, PA passed away on August 26th, 2022, peacefully with his family by his side. He was the loving and devoted husband of 60 years to Gerardina (Cioppa) Alfano and beloved father of Carmelina Alfano-Vazquez and Mauricio Alfano. He was Nonno(grandfather) to Arnaldo M. Vazquez(Ashley), Alexandra L. Vazquez and Mauricio L. Alfano and great-grandfather to Charlie G. Vazquez and Carter J. Vazquez. Gaetano was born on June 2nd, 1932, in San Michelle di Serino, Avellino, Italy to the late Stefano Alfano and Carmela Lombardi. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters and was the last surviving sibling. Family and friends are invited to gather Friday, September 2nd, 2022. The viewing will take place from 9 to 10am at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 2000 Shelmire Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19152. Funeral mass will begin at 10am. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
