Michael Traynor

 

 

 

 

Michael J Traynor, age 66, of Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on June 30, 2022. Husband to Cheryl for 41 years, father of Alexis Donohoe (John) & the late Shannon. Pop-Pop to Johnny (6), Brayden (4), Raegan (2) & Sawyer (1). Son of Marie (McDade) & the late William H. Brother to Marie Fox, Nick & the late William. Mike was the lead painter who dedicated 35 years of his career at Saint Christophers Hospital for Children. He was a devoted husband and an amazing father & grandfather. Michael was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan. He cherished making memories with his grandchildren, loved spending time up the mountains with his family and six fur-babies.  Michael served in the US Army Reserves.  Relatives and friends are invited to viewing Friday July 8, 2022 from 9:30-10:30am at the Our Lady of Calvary Church 11024 Knights Rd. Phila. PA  19154. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am with Interment to follow at the Our Lady of Grace Cemetery Langhorne PA. In Lieu of flowers family perfers. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of a contribution to the American Thoracic Society for Interstitial Lung Disease in Michael’s name.
