Condolences for Christopher Birzes

Jenna LynnSunday, July 21st

From preceptor to coworker to one of my best friends. I still haven’t fully processed that I have lost such an amazing person in my life. Always there to listen and pick me up when I’m down. Always told me how much you loved me and reminded me of my worth when I did not see it myself. The world lost an amazing friend, nurse, human being, etc. I know you were struggling and searching for peace for a long time. I only wish that I could’ve been more of help when you would come to me and tell me just how sad you were. I wish I would have hugged you tighter and longer. I always told you I loved you but I wish I could tell you one last time. I am so fortunate to have had someone like you. I wouldn’t be the person or nurse I am today without you. I love you. My heart goes out to your parents and brother during these hard times.

Chris, for 9 years, he was my amazing best friend and brother and one of the best nurse I have ever known. In my head, our memories are playing on repeat. Chris knew how much I love food and drinks, so he would always tried to take me to different breweries and restaurants. Chris, I will miss you, and love you so much.

Chris- you were and will always be such an amazing person. It had been awhile since I saw you, and I was always checking in. Your energy was immaculate and I always loved talking about life and food with you. I wish I could hug you and give you the world because you truly deserved it.

Chris- it was a blessing crossing paths with you in this world. A coworker that quickly turned into one of my good friends, I will forever be grateful for the relationship I made with you. As a new nurse, you helped guide me as I gained my footing and it was a privilege to work along side you. The love you had for the kids, for your friends and family, will never fade. I will miss your smiling face, but am praying you found the peace you longed for. So many of us will miss you. I hope heaven has all the endless spicy margs for you. Love you forever dear friend♥️

I remember when Chris applied at Childway. I was the director that hired him. He had positive attitude during the interview.
During his time at ChildWay, Chris gave the children great care and very loving. He went above and beyond for the children. He brought in these googles for the one child so he can see many different experiences. It was such a pleasure seeing the smile on the child face.
Chris had many of nurses experience many different food.
It was a pleasure working with Chris. He will greatly be missed.

Chris was an amazing nurse, so compassionate and intelligent. He welcomed me with open arms and trained me better than an nurse has ever. He was funny and kind, loved food and a good argument. I will miss him terrible. May God be with you as you grieve.
