Geraldine Rushton (Lombardo) Service Information

Geraldine “Geri” D. Rushton, of Bensalem PA, formerly of Huntingdon Valley, Rhawnhurst and Juniata, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the age of 82. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Rushton “Pop”, Loving mother of William (Mary), Jeff and the late Mark Rushton. Dearest Nan of Mark and Devon Rushton. Dear sister of the late Bobbi Lombardo.

Geri was a longtime homemaker who loved her husband, children and grandchildren above all else. As they were growing up, many of her son’s friends affectionately referred to her as “mom”.  Geri greatly enjoyed creating intricate porcelain dolls of her friends and loved ones before her eyes no longer allowed her to do these with the perfection she demanded of herself.  Her work in this hobby was written up and displayed in industry journals over the years.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday, July 19, from 9:45 to 10:45am at the Holy Innocents Church, 1337 E. Hunting Park Avenue, Phila PA 19124.  Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am. Interment Oakland Cem. In lieu of flowers family would prefer donations to, The Joey Casey Foundation, 8121 Cresco Avenue, Phila PA 19136.
