Deborah Simko (Thompson)

Debbie Simko (nee Thompson) of Somerton and Bustleton, passed away on June 7th, 2022, at the age of 70.  She was the only child of the late Fred and Winnie (Nee Peiffer) Thompson.  She was the beloved wife of 48 years of Joseph Simko, Jr.  Loving mother of Joe III (Erin), Fred (Kristin), Coleen Brennan(Keith), Kelly Schok (Jim) and Nicky (Megan).  Wonderful Me-Mom of Emily, Abby, Conner, Joey, Freddie, Kylee, Ella, Dylan, Morgan, Ava, Charley and Laney.

Debbie was a proud graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School where she was a member of a sorority of lifelong friends.  To this day she strived to keep the sorority together and very much succeeded.  She is also survived by many other family and friends who will love, miss, and cherish her forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, June 14th from 8:30 to 9:45am at the Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Avenue, Phila 19115.  Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10am.

Interment will take place Wednesday June 22, 2022 at 10:30am at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery 830 Highland Rd. Newtown PA 18940. Anyone attending is asked to arrive at the cemetery by 10:15am. In lieu of flowers family perfers donation to the Center for Autism. www.thecenterforautism.org
