Mollie Carpenter (Cravey) Service Information

Mollie Bell Carpenter (nee Cravey), 104, was born January 30^th1918, in Telfair County, Georgia.  Strolling amongst the peach and pecan tree prairies, riding with her siblings in the horse and buggy to Sunday service at Rebecca Church, and living the farm life with her Mother and Father, Eva and Vey Lewis Cravey, Mollie was raised in a time when the simpler things were valued.  She maintained that wonderful way about her throughout her 104 years of beautiful life.  She loved her vegetables, her hot coffee, and traipsing across town to visit sons, daughters, 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

     Mollie leaves with a legacy of love her Son Thomas, Daughters Carolyn and Linda, Son-in-law Nicholas, Daughter-In-Law Mary, and her Sister Janie Sue.  She rejoins in the heavens her Husband John “Buddy” Carpenter, Sons John, Gerald, Roy, Kenny, and Eddie, her Daughter Betty, Daughter-in-law Theresa, Grandsons Tommy and Gerald, 13 Brothers and Sisters, and her Mother and Father.

     With the patience of a Saint, Mollie both befriended and raised so many of us. Her generosity with the most valuable things in life, her time and love, knew no bounds.  We will be forever grateful. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, March 10^th from 10 to 11am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 9304 Old Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19115.  Funeral Service will begin at 11 AM. 

Interment following at Westminster Cemetery, 701 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
