On February 26th our beloved Vojo Tashi gained his wings at the age of 68. He was the wonderful husband of Ilirjana, a dedicated father to Ina and Ardit, Father-in- Law to Saraphine and Florian, and loving grandfather to Enid and Jordan. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family. Born in Albania on July 4th, 1952, Vojo worked as an oil engineer, prison director and environmental protection officer. He traveled the world for his work, spending time in Germany and Egypt. He was deeply devoted to his family, his career and the LDS church. He most enjoyed spending time on vacation with his wife and children. Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, March 2nd from 9 to 10:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 9304 Old Bustleton Avenue, Phila PA 19115. Burial will take place at Lawnview Memorial Park in Jenkintown, Pa. In lieu of flowers family would prefer donations in his name to the National MS Society.

Memories and Condolences

I was blessed to meet you and you will be greatly missed by all who knew you. No more pain fly high with the angels now my friend. I know you will be watching over all you love.
Dear Sister Ilirjana Tashi, Ina, and Ardit, We express our love and sympathy at the passing of your beloved husband and father, Vojo. We are the parents of Jason and were privileged to meet you and be in your home many years ago in Albania. We will always love the Tashi Family! We know you will find peace through the knowledge of our Heavenly Father's eternal plan for each of us. Our prayers and thoughts are with you! Love, Dean & Annette Burgess and family.
Dear Ilirjana, Ina, Ardit, and all of the Tashi family. My heart is full of love for you and your dear husband and father. I'm deeply grateful for the Lord's guiding hand in introducing us in Albania. I'll always remember Vojo's great warmth and passion he shared with me as one of the two young missionaries who knocked on his door. His faith in God and love of family were always his top priorities. We send our condolences and love to you and pray the Lord will comfort you now and in the days ahead. I'm confident Vojo is still very aware of you and his love for you is even greater now. May the Lord bless you at this tender time. With our love, Jason and Kristi Burgess and family
You have taught so many people how to smile, love, and be grateful! Thank you for allowing me to be taught! You're indomitable will to live was contagious! To everyone privileged to have been in your circle of friends - the world was a better place with you here, and our tribute to you would be to carry your smile and love further! With love, Don and Michelle Mebius
