Giovanna Florio (nee Daloia) passed away on June 23rd, 2020 at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of Antonio Florio. Loving mother of Anna Florio (Richard E. Wegryn, Jr.) Dearest Nonna of Richard A. Wegryn. Dear sister of the late Pasquale Daloia (Gina) and adored aunt of Joseph Daloia and Gabriella Duffy and many Florio nieces and nephews around the world Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, June 29th from 9 to 10am at St. Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Rd. Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10am. Entombment Forest Hills Cemetery. Masks are required to enter the church and we ask that all visitors follow the CDC guidelines for social distancing.

How lucky we all were to know and love such a strong, beautiful woman! She will forever be watching over your family, giving you strength and guidance. We were saddened to hear of the passing Zia Giovanna, our thoughts and prayers are with you all especially Zio Tony. Your love for each other was touching to witness. Our time with Zia has left lasting fond memories for our family. Anthony and Olivia consider Zio and Zia their second Grandparents in the US. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with Zio, Anna, Ricky and Ricky Jnr. We were privileged to be part of Zia's life and she will be sadly missed. May she rest in peace.
