Charles Bevan

Our most beloved Charles Christopher Bevan tragically left us on September the 8th 2023. He leaves behind a loving mother, father, sister, son, daughter, brother-in-law, nieces, aunts and uncles, cousins and second cousins, and an incredible number of friends who will all miss him so much.

Charles loved his family deeply. He enjoyed and always looked forward to spending time up the mountains with his family. He had a very loving and close relationship with his parents. Charles could make them cry, but mostly made them laugh a lot. He helped them whenever they needed him…without question! He was always reminiscing about the mischief of the olden days with his sister, Lora Ann. They share too many memories and special times to share. Although he was her younger brother, Charles always had her back and was very protective of his “little sister.” Charles was also an amazing dad to his daughter, Layla (whom he loved and spoiled a lot)!  He enjoyed travelling to Myrtle Beach with her where they would share a room with a balcony that faced the ocean and watched the sun set together. He enjoyed riding speedboats with her in Maryland and created a “tradition” after doing anything that was fun with her. Charles always looked forward to seeing his son, Charles Anthoni. When he could, Charles enjoyed watching his son play football for Father Judge High School. He was so proud that his son turned out to be an independent, hard-working, and responsible young man. Even more proud of him when he graduated from Deep Sea Diving School. He could not believe that he had a part in creating such a big, strong, and brave young man. Charles always loved seeing his aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces. He especially enjoyed going to breakfast with Cousin Joey!

Charles was an amazingly generous man. He would give you every penny he had, if you needed it. Charles was well liked by everyone. He was generous, loyal, and extremely comical. He made everyone laugh. He lived by a code…If you are a member of my family (which includes my friends) …I have got your back till the end!
