God love you my forever friend. I’ll miss you and your funny stories, and reminiscing about our amazing childhood together. Give our mothers, fathers and sisters a hug from me. I’ll always smile when thinking of you. 💕

How do we say goodbye to our dear friend of 30+years. We had so many good times together and some sad times too. We shared our times with Debra Miller and the three of us were the “Golden Girls”. Both Michaels would shake their heads at us. It was a honor to be your friend Dr. ward. So proud of all you accomplished. Loved the smile on your face with each one. We love you Julie and with so many tears in our eyes we say goodbye. You will be forever missed Jule ♥️

It is with a heavy heart that I learned of Julia's passing - she was an inspiration and mentor to me as I joined the faculty at Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and later transitioned with Julia to Jefferson College of Nursing - I will miss her positive and upbeat attitude, kindness and caring for student/patients/peers and her understanding and appreciate of life. My sincere condolences to her family, friends and those who had the great pleasure of interacting with her.

Dr. Ward was a tough instructor that expected greatness from each student and nothing less. She cared for her students and wanted us to provide exceptional care for our patients. I am thankful that I had her to mold me into the provider that I am today. She will be missed immensely and I’m sending my deepest condolences to her family.

I too was a colleague of Julia's at Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. I was thrilled to later rejoin her at Thomas Jefferson College of Nursing. I Dcan honestly say that Julia was one of the hardest working woman i have ever known. She always spoke of her family with great pride and love. She will surely be missed.

Julia Ward was the instructor who made sure her senior students were ready to graduate. She taught me so much and I will forever be grateful! Condolences to her family. 🙏🏻

To Julia Ward's loved ones: Please accept my sincere condolences on the death of Julia. Julia was one of my graduate students when she was pursuing the MSN degree at La Salle University. I appreciated her gentle yet assertive ways. Her lovely smile is remembered. It was wonderful to see her achievements as she earned a PhD and was awarded full Professor rank.

Rest in peace Aunt Julie. Will never forget how much fun I had as a little girl making Christmas cookies with you in your kitchen. Love and miss you.

I was a student at Methodist Hospital from September 1998 to February 2001. When I was a student, there were times Dr. Ward could be relentless, but it only made me that much more determined not only to become a nurse, but strive to become the best nurse that I could be. I give your Family my deepest sympathy, and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

My sincere condolences go out to the family of Julia Ward. She was my nursing school instructor in 2004. I absolutely adored her charm, Witt, and personality. The two of us nearly shared the same birthday as mine is May 12th. Ms. Ward and I often joked about our birthdays! Heaven has definitely gained an angels. My heart is full just writing this. R.I.P. Julia Ward. It was an honor to have known you. 🙏🏾🕊️🙏🏾🕊️
