Uncle Cesar.... did you bring me some squid from The Philippines? That was the question I asked whenever he visited after introducing it to me some years ago. Oh how I fell in love with it... but only the way he prepared it. It never was the same when I had do it myself.

Every event, every party, every family gathering, we never had to wonder if he was going to be there with Aunt Lita and Aunt Alice on his side. I can't remember one where he wasn't there.

I have a million funny memories dating back to the night of me and my wife's rehearsal dinner, a million conversations in which he was always so curious about all that I had going on. Such an awesome man, an awesome uncle and truly an all amazing person who myself and so many others are going to miss.

Thanks for the memories Uncle Cesar. Watch down on Jane and Aunt Alice until they meet you on the other side.
