Condolences for Louis Lupinacci

Stephanie Wiecer, OFSSunday, June 5th

I have known Lou for many years as a result of being a Secular Franciscan. He always had a cheerful greeting when I walked in the door. He was caring, gentle and in love with the Lord! He was a man of great faith. I am sure he is celebrating Pentacost in heaven in all its holy and glorious splendor. We should take comfort in that knowing he is at great peace in the arms of the Lord.

Frank D. Cuda, OFSSunday, June 5th

I am a fellow Secular Franciscan Brother of Lou's. I must say that he was always full of life when I would come to a monthly meeting. The first thing he would ask when he saw me enter: "Did you bring your rice pudding?" Or "What goodies did you bring today?" He always had a smile. He was reverent in every respect and had such a devotion to the Blessed Mother. He was also crazy about his Italian heritage and the foods that we would make for Christmas and the holidays.
I am certain that he is resting in the arms of our God and Father. May his soul and the souls of the faithfully departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
My most sincere thoughts and prayers I offer to his family. Be at peace.

Mattie Ward, OFSTuesday, June 7th

Lou, or Big Lou as he was affectionately known by his sisters and brothers in fraternity, became a professed Secular Franciscan in 1986 as a member of Cathedral Fraternity. When that fraternity closed, he transferred to Community of the Franciscan Spirit in Glenside, Pennsylvania where he served as the fraternity's Treasurer for many years. Once that fraternity closed, Lou transferred to St. Bonaventure Fraternity where he has been a faithful, vital member. Lou was a good man and a dedicated Franciscan. His sense of humor was as wide as the world. He will be sorely missed. Rest in the peace of Christ, dear brother. Peace, every good and much love, mattie ward, ofs
