Lynne and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a good man and I remember talking with him about firefighting many times. He is no longer in pain and can rest easy now. Stay strong and know we are thinking about you.

Rest in Peace Bob..Always a great guy. Much loved & respected by PFD members.
Dear Lynn and family,
My family are all sorry for your loss. I have many memories of Bob that date back to a young girl. Bob and my dad ( Pat Hardiman) were instructors at the Philadelphia Fire Academy ( about 10 years). As kids a typical weekday morning was getting ready for school and someone yelling to my Dad “Mr. Bryson is here.” He would be parked in our driveway in the red Philadelphia Fire Department command car. Bob always on time - Dad rarely on time - which often resulted in Bob waiting in our living room or kitchen. Bob ALWAYS smiled, talked with us kids and patiently waited. If he was annoyed you wouldn’t have known it. When my Dad spoke of Bob he repeatedly told us in his years of friendship with Bob he never heard Bob say an unkind word about anyone. My family’s memory of Bob Bryson is a kind man with a captivating smile we were all blessed to have known.
Keeping you all in our prayers.
