Kathleen Simone (Grant) Service Information

SIMONE, Kathleen Cecelia (nee: Grant) of Huntingdon Valley, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4, 2024. She was 89 years young. 

Kathleen hailed from the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, PA. She was a woman of faith and was proud to be raised in the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul parish. She was a graduate of Hallahan High School and entered the business world as a “Bell Tel Girl.” She met and married her soulmate Ron and together they started a micrographics company. 
Kathleen enjoyed travel, good food, and above all else, the company of her family. 

Kathleen went from God’s hands to the arms of her loving husband, the late Ronald C. Simone Sr.. Kathleen is also predeceased by her parents; Jane Ann (nee: Kelly) and James Grant, and her six loving brothers and sisters; James, Jack, William, Mary, Theresa, and Jane. 

Left to cherish Kathleen’s legacy are her sons Ronald C. Simone, Jr. (fiancé Joanne Matarese) of Huntingdon Valley PA; Joseph A. Simone (Rose Bayer) of Chalfont, PA; James G. Simone (Anne Massimiano) of Huntingdon Valley, PA; and John E. Simone (fiancé Lisa Furey) of Ambler, PA; She will be deeply missed by 9 grandchildren; Ronald III (Jordan), Nicholas, John Jr., Christina, Stephanie, Gianna, James, Richard, and Gabriella; 3 step grandchildren; Jimmy, Crystal, Jessica; and one great grandchild; Owen. Cherished Aunt of her nieces Maryann O’Toole (Tim), Margaret Fitzpatrick (Bob), Patty Grant (Dave), Janie Ferry (Patrick), along with her devoted caretakers; Jennifer, Adriana, Tammy; and many loving family members and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday August 8, 2024, from 9:30 - 10:30am at St. Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Rd. Huntingdon Valley, PA. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am, with Internment immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
