Diane Caruso (Cole)

Diane Marie Caruso (nee Cole), born and raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia passed away on Wednesday, February 15th surrounded by her loving family.  Diane was the loving mother of Judy A. Trabbold (Fred), Jeffrey M. Caruso, Margaret A. Michalczyk, Donna M. Irvin (Mark), Mary Diane Wynne,  Christine M. DeFrancesco (Pat) and the late Michael.  She was the best grandmother to Jason, Crystal, Angela, Dana, Alexis, Tyler, Erik, Devyn, Jimmy, Madison, Gianna, and close niece Lisa.  She is also Great-Grandmother of 9 kids she loved so much.

She was predeceased by her brothers Jim, Jack and her sister Mary.

Diane loved spending time outside in the sunshine admiring the beauty she said that God created. She loved doing arts and crafts with her (great) grandkids as well as sitting on her deck listening to Elvis Presley, watching planes fly over her head.  Diane's favorite holiday was Christmas to no surprise as it meant bright decorations and extra time with family.  Diane was a lover of all animals and rescued many throughout the years.  Her most current being her loyal dog Minnie and because of this, any donations can be made to the Pennsylvania SPCA at 350 E. Erie Avenue, Phila PA 19134.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday, February 21st from 9 to 10am at the Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Avenue, Phila PA 19115.  Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10am.  Interment will be private.
