Maria Barros - Da Cunha Service Information

Maria Valdenia Barros Da Cunha, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away on February 14th, 2023. She was born on October 2nd, 1962, in Teresina, Brazil to her parents Teresinha and Francisco das Chagas Barros.

Valdenia was married to her loving husband, Brasil, for 35 years. Together they raised three wonderful children: Anderson Cunha and his wife Rosimayre, Andreia McCorkle and her husband Bryan, and Andressa Cunha and her husband Salvatore. She was also a compassionate grandmother to Laysa, Allan, Jhonny, Diego, Ava, and Alice. 

Valdenia was a devoted mother and always put her family first. She was known for her kind heart and her unwavering commitment to those she loved. Her children remember her as a selfless and caring mother who always made sure they felt loved and supported.

In addition to being a wonderful mother, Valdenia was a talented musician, instructor, and Music Examinar at the Christian Congregation of the United States were she served God for most of her life. She was known for her beautiful voice and her ability to play several instruments, and her passion for music touched the lives of many. 

Valdenia's legacy lives on through her family and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate her life on Friday, February 17th from 9:00 to 11:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 9304 Old Bustleton Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19115.  Her Funeral Services will begin at 11:30am at the Funeral Home with interment to follow at Lawnview Cemetery.
