Florence Caputo (Brill) Service Information

Florence Caputo (née Brill), born in Philadelphia, July 1st, 1930, peacefully passed away at home on December 3rd surrounded by her loving family at the age of 92. She was a devoted daughter of the late Harry and Florence (née Hall) Brill. Loving mother of Kathy and Steve McNeil.  She was also survived by her Grandchildren Donna Caputo(Ken Ball), Diane (Ron)Fortunato, Anthony (Kelly) Caputo, Jennifer Reinboth,  Steven McNeil (Emily Katzin) and Meghan McNeil (Mike Cofalka). Her great grandchildren, Amanda(Ed)Kaighn, Gianna Caputo, Anthony Caputo, Maria Caputo, Alyssa Fortunato, Jack Sherman, Luke Sherman, Alexander Colella and her great great grandchildren Abel Allen, Sadie Kaighn and Eddie Kaighn.

Florence earned her angel wings, we know God greeted her at heaven’s gates, she was married to Tony, the love of her life for 74 years. She was able to show her family what it was like to love and be loved. She enjoyed being in the kitchen, she always cooked with love, never knowing any measurements, but rather following her heart. She loved the casino and bingo. She took great pride in her fashion and her appearance.  We have been blessed with many years of wonderful memories and lots of love from her caring ways. After 92 years a life so beautifully lived it deserves to be beautifully remembered.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, December 10^th, from 9 to 10am at the Maternity BVM Church.  Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10am.  Interment Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations in Florence’s name to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
