Karen Kandybski (Bennett)

Karen Ann Kandybski, née Bennett, of Philadelphia, born April 3, 1957, passed away on August 5,2022. She was married to her devoted husband Robert “Bob” of 40 years. Karen was the love of Bob’s life. She is survived by her loving mother, Rose and late father James, Sr.  Karen is predeceased by her twin sister Kathleen and is survived by her brother James Junior. She loved being Aunt Karen to her nephews, James, Patrick and Ryan as well as many nieces and nephews. She was especially excited to be a great Aunt to Olivia Rose.

Karen was a proud graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School and spent many years in the printing industry. You could always find her in the last pew at the 4:30pm Mass at Maternity BVM Church.  She was amazingly generous with her time to her many friends and neighbors. 

Karen loved the beach and her trips to Cape May. She was incredibly skilled with her needlepoint crafts and provided exquisite handmade creations to the lucky recipients.

Her warm heart and wonderful smile will be missed by everyone.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, August 13th, from 10 to 11am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 9304 Old Bustleton Avenue Phila 19115.  Funeral Service will follow at 11am.
