Alice Hopf (Terlingo) Service Information

Alice J. Hopf passed away peacefully on August 2, 2022, surrounded by her family after spending a day at the beach. She was married for over 60 years to William (Bill) who preceded her in death. Alice was proud of her Italian heritage and her parents, Paul and Jennie Terlingo. She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Antoinette and Patricia, and twin brother Francis.

Family was the cornerstone of her life. She raised Thomas (Beth), James (Margie), JoAnn (Ken Lawall) and Kenneth (Karla) in Northeast Philadelphia before moving with Bill to Brigantine, NJ, in their retirement years. When not at the beach, the couple frequently traveled with family to Disneyworld in Florida, and on cruises throughout the U.S. and world.

Mom-mom’s big laugh will be missed greatly by all eight of her grandchildren: Tara, Tracy, Jessica, Kristen, Amy, Trevor, Jimmy, and Keenan. Her eight great-grandchildren will miss Gigi’s face light up when she squeezed them in her lap: Cora, Katelyn, Nathan, Rhett, Reagan, Jason, Elliana, and Harrison.

Strawbridge & Clothier benefitted from her outgoing personality. She worked there as a sales associate in the ‘70s and ‘80s at the Neshaminy Mall. She also sold Mary Kay cosmetics. Alice moved to Ann’s Choice Hampton Ridge in January 2020.

Family and friends are invited to gather Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 9 to 10am at Galzerano Funeral Home, 9304 Old Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, 19115.  Service will follow at 10am.  Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
