Hugh Patrick Caven
Born November 12, 1962, Hugh passed on to his eternal life on June 18, 2022, loved and cherished by all who had the good fortune to know him. Hugh was a graduate of Archbishop Ryan and Holy Family University. Predeceased by his parents, James and Mary Teresa Caven, and brother James J Caven, he is survived by his son Sean Caven, sisters Marianne Caven, Patricia Stubel and Kathleen McCauley, nephews, nieces, extended family and a large circle of dear friends. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Maternity BVM Church at 9220 Old Bustleton Avenue on Thursday, June 23, where a Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in his memory be made to Catholic Charities of Philadelphia. catholiccharitiesappeal.org
