Josephine Bertolini (Laughlin)

Josephine “Josie” Bertolini (nee Laughlin) age 92, left this earth peacefully for eternal rest on March 20th, 2022. Wife of the late Joseph Bertolini. Mother of the late Anna Mae (Franco) Procaccino. Beloved Mother of Kathleen Pomponi, Joseph (Barbara), Josephine (John) Rybicki, Regina (Michael) Darden. Devoted Grandmother of Tara, Christina, Kathy Jo, Jennifer, Barbara, Christine, Michael and Gabrielle Josephine, and a Great Grandmother of 17. Survived by one sister and many nieces and nephews. Josephine was one of twelve children born to Thomas and Catharine Laughlin. Josephine was a devoted wife, Mother and Grandmother, she was fun loving and had a cheerful spirit. Josephine’s two favorite days of the year were St Patrick’s Day and the Kentucky Derby, as well as any day that she could play her daily numbers, (which was every day). Josephine was a waitress at Liberty Bell and Keystone Racetracks for many years. You could always find our mom in front of the TV from 3 till 4 watching her General Hospital.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, March 26th, 2022, from 9 to 10am at the Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Ave Phila PA 19115. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations could be made in Josephine’s name to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
