John Kilroy

It is with great sadness, the family of John P. Kilroy (Paddy) announce his passing peacefully to eternal life on October 14, 2020. He was born July 12, 1928, in Bellaghy, County Sligo, a border town adjoined to Charlestown, County Mayo Ireland, to Luke Kilroy and Nora (nee Walsh) Kilroy. Devoted husband to Anne P. (aka Nancy) (nee Sharkey) married for 66 years. Loving father of six children Noreen Nicolo (James), John (Franklin Galina), Patricia Briscella (Anthony), Ann Cohen (Paul), Kathleen Tait (Charles) and Kevin. Grandfather to Anthony Briscella III (Cara), Joseph Briscella (Gina), Christina Corbett (Pat), Noreen Rebstock (Pat), Marie Nicolo, Paul Cohen Jr (Liz), John Cohen (Meghan), Sean Tait (Katie), Colleen. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren, Maggie, Nora, Clare, Johanna, Jimmy, Anthony, Emily, Charlie, Maura and Anna. Survived by his sister Frances Lenihan (Dennis) of Yorkshire, England and Pre-deceased by his sisters Johanna McMenamin (Sean), Nora Christine Cronin (Vincent), Kathleen Cambers (Eric) and pre-deceased by brothers Edward Kilroy (Bridie), Bernard Kilroy and Kevin Kilroy (Margaret). Also survived and sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in Philadelphia, PA USA, Charlestown, Co Mayo, Ireland, Perth, Australia and Huddersfield Yorkshire England. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the funeral service and Interment is private.
