Les Condon

Les W. Condon passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at the age of 79. Les was the beloved husband of Clare (nee Chatterton). Loving father of Mary Snyder (Steve) and Christine Crosson (Dave). Dearest Pop-Pop of Steve Snyder (Nikki) and Maggie Crosson. Dear brother of Joseph Condon, Jr. (Barbara). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Les was a graduate of Father Judge High School, class of 1959, where he played varsity football for four years. He was a dedicated employee at Shop Rite for over 20 years. Upon his retirement, he loved spending time with his family and his grand doggies down the shore, at his home in the Villas, NJ. Les was the biggest fan of two Philadelphia institutions - Wawa and the Eagles. His infectious laugh, quick wit, and warm smile will be missed by all who love him. Those who knew him best can appreciate the irony that Les passed away on the same day that Rodney Dangerfield passed away, 16 years earlier. Relatives and friends are invited to call Wednesday, October 14th, from 9 to 11am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 9304 Old Bustleton Avenue, Phila PA 19115. His Funeral Service will follow at 11am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers family would prefer donations to Fox Chase Cancer Center at www.foxchase.org.
