Frank W. DiGregorio

Frank W. DiGregorio passed away on August 18, 2020 at the age of 96. He was the loving husband of the late Jean (nee Isopi) who passed away on September 7, 2019. Frank was born December 24, 1923 in Philadelphia. He was the son of the late Albert and Elizabeth (nee Luciano) DiGregorio. He was a devout parishioner of Maternity BVM Church in Bustleton. Prior to that Frank proudly served his country during WII in the US Navy. His three passions were baseball (which Frank played in the Minor Leagues), golf and of course his family. He was the humble patriarch of an ever growing family. He is survived by his three children; Denise Coleman (Timothy), Frank DiGregorio (Josie) and Richard DiGregorio, six grandchildren Ray (Erin), Christopher (Lisa), Timothy (Brittany), Jessica (Deena), Sean (Jenna) and Natalie and as well as his 4 amazing great grandchildren; Lily, Lucas, Ryan and Asher. Frank was predeceased by his sisters Rose Watson and Florence Mace. Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, August 24, 2020 from 9 to 10am at Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Avenue, Phila PA 19115. Funeral Mass will follow at 10am. Interment will take place at a later time with Military Honors at Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of his wife to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org
