Memories and Condolences

I am sorry to be so late on this, but I just recently learn of Mary Jane`s passing. I want to extend my sincere condolences to the family and to convey my appreciation for her mentorship during our time in Pine Hill Schools. Of course you know, she was brilliant, she was also passionate, patient, and I and the kids we served benefited from her leadership. My thoughts and prayers to you, and may the Lord of Comfort cover you in His. Sincerely, Nacovin Normman
I am heartbroken at hearing about the loss of this strong, incredible woman and dear neighbor. My family and I have great memories of watching Mary Jane enjoy spending time with her family and her grandchildren at the shore. She would often come sit on the porch with our mother and the two would share stories of the kids. Each summer I know they each looked forward to hearing about the other’s winter. We especially loved to hear what adventures she had been on and what trips she had coming. My prayers are with the entire family, she truly will be missed.
Dear family, in this time of sadness, I hope that these promises from Jehovah God will bring you much comfort and strength to endure the loss of Mary Jane. "Do not be anxious...but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6, 7; Isaiah 25:8 NWT
I am so sad to hear of Mary Jane's passing. She was so wonderful to work with during my years in Pennsauken. Though we all worked hard, Mary Jane always had a great sense of humor. I will never forget the story of zeros don't count among many others. She exhibited great spirit as she dealt with her health issues. She was an inspiration to me. May you cherish all the wonderful times and memories May her memory be a blessing. Ellen Rothschild
Mary Jane was a valued member of the Collingswood Public Schools administrative staff and cared deeply about the students under her supervision.
Dear Bill and Family, So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing! May God grant her peace and tranquillity! A wonderful woman gone too soon from this earth! With deepest sympathy, Helen and Vito
Mary Jane had a good sense of humor - she had to in order to marry Ed. Jokingly, I once asked her why she married Ed. She said that 'he made her laugh'. God bless her and Ed and their families. Pax Dominii sit semper vobiscum.
Please accept my sincere condolences. Mary Jane and I worked together on the administrative team in Collingswood. From my perspective, Mary Jane set a standard of excellence for all. Know that my prayers and thoughts are with your family during this time of loss. May God's comfort be your portion. Deepest sympathy.
I didn't know mary jane well, but what I knew of her, I liked. she had a real good sense of humor. I guess she got that from being married to Ed. I asked her once why she married Ed. She said that he made her laugh - as he did for many of the rest of the staff. She and Ed and their families are in my prayers. Pax Sit Semper Vobiscum

I am shocked & saddened to hear the sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with Ed & his family. Mary Jane did what educators do...she made a difference!
I worked with Mary Jane for many years at Pennsauken Public Schools under the Basic Skills Program and Title I. She is gone too soon. I can close my eyes and still see her smiling face. She was elegant and genuine; a real asset in the world of education.
We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Mary Jane. She was a wonderful co worker here at CCTS and a very sweet person. We are thinking about your family. Greg and Marianne Cappello
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Sending thoughts and prayers to your family.
Mary Jane was a dynamic and caring person who in her professional responsibilities always exhibited the very best in her desire to make a difference for the children she served! She was a kind and gentle soul and will be sorely missed by all! The last few years as she battled with her health challenges, she was a true example of courage and grace! Rest peacefully MJ!
My heartfelt condolences to all of Mary Jane's beautiful family. I was blessed to have worked with her for about 9 months when she was the Director of Special Services in Pine Hill as her Administrative Assistant. A wonderful friendship developed and my memories are bountiful. She had a special place in her heart for my son Kevin, who due to 4 left arm surgeries, was never able to return to college pitching. May the memories she shared with all of you comfort you at this most difficult time. There was not a day in the office or a time when we got together, that she did not speak of you all and share special stories or moments going on in all of your lives. Heaven has gained a most special angel.
What a woman. Sorry for your loss.
Ed, Eddie, Billy and families, I have no words that can take away the pain and loss you are feeling. Mary Jane was a very special lady. I always admired her love for her family, love of knowledge, and love of life! She lived it to the fullest. And she adored her grandchildren! You are blessed with a lot of very special memories. Hold on to them and each other. I am so greatful to have called Mary Jane (and all of you) my neighbor and friend for all these years. I will truly miss her and her spirit. I will never forget her face when she saw Sean on the porch next door....hahaha! I thought the “for sale” sign was going up the next day. It turned out to be the happiest years. Now they are together in heaven and will be watching over us. Sending prayers and a whole lot of love your way. Here for you always and anytime you need. Love and Hugs, (Sean) Denise, Conall & Declan Smith
