Memories and Condolences

rest in peace chef until we meet again
What a truly beautiful woman! I was so lucky to have had the opportunity to know her. She will be missed, and forever remembered.
It was an privilege to know you,Vernie. Keep an eye on me please. Love Arne.
Vernie was a friend I never had the pleasure of meeting in person. We met because of her best friend Terrys' love of photography and her own willingness to be Terry's muse whenever needed. It's hard to think if someone you never met touching your heart, but that is exactly what Vernie did. With her infectious and beautiful smile and her kindness, she snuck right inside of you and added joy to your life, sometimes without you realising she was doing it. She was without doubt, an angel here on earth, and her presence will be missed by myself and so many others whose life she touched.
Vernie was a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. I feel privileged to have gotten to know her through photography, and wish that I had been able to meet her in person. I am so very sorry for your loss of a wonderful woman, as she truly was. May you Rest In Peace, Vernie- you will truly be missed.
I will miss you my dear friend! Your beautiful face and smile always be in my heart! You are an inspiration to me and so many. Until we meet again! Love you my dear friend!
Vernie was an inspiration to so many, for so many reasons, her smile was the star in her crown. Never have I ever known such a truly good person, she was everyone’s rock, and inspiration, how I loved Christmas evenings for years, the select few were given the joyous gift of her presence. We laughed , ate, loved and laughed some more. Oh yes, we had to do photos every time also. Thanks Teri. But what those evenings did for me were the best part of Christmas. Mary and I and Claire who were so honored with our tradition. It gave me hope and joy of life for the coming year, it inspired, my new year, to seek goodness and happiness, and a giving spirit. She was all of these things, Merry and Bill, and the rest of that group. Truly felt loved in her sight. Life is change, that’s what keeps it moving, but for me, I wish it had slowed down a little so we could all have a little more vernie in our lives.
Dearest Terry and families, I am heartbroken at the loss of Laverne. I am Grateful thankful proud and blessed to call her my friend. She had a kind and generous spirit which will never be forgotten. May wonderful memories bring you moments of peace joy and comfort when you need them most during this difficult and sad time. Love hugs and prayers to all, Ann

To Our Good friend Terry, We are sorry for the loss of your and our Dear Friend Laverne. What a Strong and Spiritual Lady. I don't think she realized how much her prayer corner helped so many people on a daily basis. As we read it each day, we could feel her smile through the words. I will always remember being outside your house and you two talking away and then hearing Laverne's cackle, as i push back the tears, i smile at the thought of this. Rest in Peace Our Beautiful Friend .
Vernie, it took me all this time to begin to accept your passing. I still can't do it all the way though. You are too much to lose too quickly. This will take time. But, I have experienced your loving, patient heart before. I feel you smiling at me again. Ah, that feels good. Thanks V
Laverne was an absolutely amazing woman. She was full of life and humor and made everyone's day brighter. She is loved and missed. Rest in Peace Laverne
