Memories and Condolences

I had so much fun with the family when we celebrated Idamae's "birthday" in Maryland when their for Stephanie's baby shower. It was a fun time with everyone around. I believe she was in her element and enjoyed herself very much. She loved seeing her "one" grandbaby at the time while the other two were cooking in the bellies of their mothers, Stephanie and Christina. I am sincerely glad I got to meet and know her through the years of Debbie's and Paul's marriage. She loved her family very much by just watching her watching everyone! My condolences to you Marianne, Fred, Idarose, Paul, Debbie, Christina and Stephanie and the entire clan of Massey's! Love you all!!

I remember Aunt Ida taking me to the Franklin Institute when we came to visit over 50 years ago. It was just me and her. What a nice thing to do for a kid, when I'm sure she had better things to do. I had so much fun and still think about that to this day. It was always fun to see our Philly relatives and Aunt Ida was always so happy and loving when we got together. I can still see and hear Uncle Paul making her laugh. I know she loved, and was so proud of her family. Paul & Marianne, you're not alone in your grief. We will all miss her. Love You.
I have only happy memories of Aunt Ida and our trips to Philly- there always seemed to be lots of food and laughter whenever the Massey family got together. I always looked forward to those vacations! I went up there by myself sometime after Mom died, and Aunt Ida and Uncle Paul were so sweet to take time off to spend with me. Paul and Marianne, I know you will greatly miss her, but sheโ€™s together now with Uncle Paul, and will live in your memories-those that I have of Aunt Ida are all happy ones. Much love to both of you!
Ida was a beautiful woman. I met her through the Aoptive Mothers Club. She was smart, funny, kind, and an excellent cook. I still make her delicious rice pudding recipe. She was so proud of her children. With deepest sympathy to your family, Barbara Rilling
I was in the Mother's Club with Ida for about 50 yrs. So many good times, laughs and now memories. We love her and will certainly miss her. Our prayers are with you and your entire Massey family. God bless!
