Anthony J. Gambone

Death be not proud; nor be it prejudice. Anthony J. Gambone, Jr., 65, lifelong resident of South Philadelphia, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at his home. An accountant by trade and a sports fan by tradition, he was a beloved brother to Lucia; a dedicated Uncle to Michele & Brian; and a great-uncle to Conor, Julian, and Miles. Anthony liked fine wine, fine watches, fine cars, and fine cigars. Road trips, craft beer, and Seinfeld. A drummer, photographer, lover of jazz, and supporter of “gli Azzuri”. Anthony will most be remembered for his kindness, gentleness, and generosity. Services will be held graveside at Holy Cross Cemetery Monday, March 15th at 1pm. Friends and family are welcome to attend.

Memories and Condolences

Lucia and family, Diane and I are truly sorry to hear of the passing of your Brother Anthony. I have great memories of our family get togethers and of course going to the Eagles and Phillies games mustering at Uncle Anthony and Aunt Lucy's home and let's not forget going to the Mummer's parade!
